MoMA Sale
If you can’t find it in New York, it likely doesn’t exist. New York City has it all… culture, art, design, history, music, food, diversity, technology and not to mention shopping. And The Museum of Modern Art captures the essence of NYC.
It’s easy to spend an entire day in MoMA as it’s much more than a museum. A mecca for tourists and residents alike, the Midtown haven also offers two cafes, a restaurant and bar, a bookstore and a design store. Not to mention a second design store in SoHo.
And while we’re on the topic of stores… the MoMA store currently has several items on SALE. Posters are $3.95 (originally $17.95-$25.00)… what a great way to cover the cracked plaster in the studio apartment without spending a fortune. 2006 wall calendars are now just $1.00… with 10+ months remaining in the year, so worth the dollar investment. Personally, I have an obsession for journals and couldn’t pass up the Icons assortment consisting of a journal, sketchbook, address book, diary and a travel journal… each under $5. And check out this ingenious duffle bag… it folds flat into a circular pouch for ease of travel and storage… what makes it even better is it’s now just $4.95 (originally $30).
And if you become a member, you receive an additional discount of 10%.

Didn't realize you could receive 10% off at the MoMA store when you are a MoMA member. That's great news for me as I am particularly interested in Danish crafts and I understand MoMA currently has a large selection of this handiwork on display. If you've never seen Danish craft before you should check it out now. The pieces are so colorful. And the unique designs are efficiently functional. Thanks!
Having lived in NYC I understand the importance of being chic while doing it cheap! If you're like me and love high fashion at reasonable prices you really need to Check out the INA stores. Yes, it's resale clothing and accessories but many of the clothes are previously worn on the runway and even on such tv shows as Sex in the City. Consigned merchandise is accepted seasonally and must be in perfect condition. Very convenient too as they have four store locations!!!! http://www.inanyc.com/
